Ladies Bible Study:  Seeing Through the Lies Chapter Five This week’s lesson was on greed. After reviewing the questions at the end of the chapter and the additional discussion questions, we began our study. This was not a difficult study as our group members are pretty practical. However, two of the study questions sparked an enlightening discussion. One question everyone easily engaged in and the other, only a few, but those few were enough. Valentine's Day 2010 – Blankets and Lanterns

Do a google search for the top Valentine’s Day gifts and you will find the usual items of candy, flowers and jewelry. After almost nine years of marriage, I expected at least one of those items this year for Valentine’s Day.  Mind you I said, I expected it. I did not say I particularly wanted them, but one comes to anticipate the obvious after so many years of marriage. This year was different.  What Matt choose to give me this year caught my heart in ways I am not sure he understands. What were these gifts?  He gave me blankets and lanterns.
