If there was a formula you could use to determine the difference between True Love and infamous Lust or Infatuation, would you like to know what it was? Have you ever thought you were in Love with someone only to discover later that your own heart deceived you? Try this Love Test and consider the results. First, we must have a working definition of Love. And where can we find Love in the purest form? What can we trust as the basis of the purest definition of Love? The Return on Sin

Pondering the though of the return of sin, I remembered a saying I’ve heard many times before. Sin will take you farther than you want to go, Keep you longer than you want to stay, and Cost you more than you want to pay. Recently, Matt and I heard a sermon where the Preacher stated that all sin is an investment -  and order for woe and sorrow. In my recent post, ‘He Has Injured His Own Soul‘, I began to see the reason for the instruction in Matthew 5:44-45, that when another does evil to you, the return on investment is surely high and there is no need for unforgiveness or retribution. Everybody Plays the Fool

  “Everybody plays the fool, sometimes There’s no exception to the rule. Listen baby, it may be factual, it may be cruel I ain’t lying, everybody plays the fool.” You, no doubt, have heard this Aaron Neville’s song.  Contemplating what the Bible says about a fool is an enormous task for there are 189 occurrences of the word ‘fool, fools,  foolish, foolishly’. A large number of these (78 in fact) can be found in the book Proverbs.
